1. This study provides a meta-evaluation and models of job rotation from analysis of of the previous 5 studies in this action research project, the comprehensive critical literature review on job rotation, and the experience of key personnel in the project and by the use of two expert panels.
2. The analysis of the various strands of experience and data on job rotation were analysed by the use of nominal group technique and the hermeneutic dialectic approach to generate findings and interpretations.
3. The resulting findings focussed on useful outcome for individual employees, their organisation and service users/customers.
4. A number of models emerged from the analysis to highlight key structures, processes and outcomes that appear to relate to the success of job rotation schemes.
5. The models of job rotation and the findings from all the studies are provided for the use and interpretation of others interested in usefulness and development of job rotation – as rotatees, managers, education providers, human resource policy makers, professional organisation, students and researchers.
